Is indigo too 'out there'?

Struggling to agree on names with my DH. He's discounting most of my favourite nature names (primrose, amber, pearl) and even my longstanding favourite Esme (he says Esme's are 'everywhere')
But he likes indigo (Indy as a nn) which really surprised me as he's usually fairly conservative.
I like the name but I'm concerned we are too 'normal' for it. Is it too much do you think?

I know a school age Indigo. you won't find many around but she loves her name.

I like it, and I tend towards the more traditional.

I think indigo is lovely. I also love Primrose and am pretty sure this is what I am going to call my baby girl due in a few months. So many people are so against it and names considered "too pretty or girly" on here! Go with what your heart tells you x

Love it and Indy is a bit more mainstream.

I think it's fine. Imogen might work for you too.
