We are expecting another boy and currently have a boy called Finn. We like either -

Finn & Jack
Finn & Elias
Finn & Charlie
Finn & Odin
Finn & Joshua
Finn & Lucas

What do people think? Suggestions are well and truly welcome! Would prefer to avoid two F's!

@storkstalk James is more than likely going to be the middle name after Grandad and Great Grandad! 😍

Finn and Riley?
Finn and Christian?
Finn and Tadgh (pr. Tai - means poet)?

Tal45 · 07/01/2022 17:19

All lovely apart from Odin IMO. Odin just makes me think of other words with that od sound at the beginning, odour, odious and also of the word din. Just nothing about it seems very positive to me, I just think odious Odin. Love all the others though.

Finn is a great name. I think Lucas would be a great sibling set with Finn and Jack would be a close second.

Some other suggestions:

Alex/Alexander
Arthur
Barnaby
Benjamin
George
Oliver
Oscar
Jasper
Louis
Luke
Maximus
Milo
Sam/Samuel
Wilfred
Winston

Finn and Jack is lovely! My first thought was Rory Smile

northernbutterfly · 07/01/2022 17:23

If James is the middle name you can't have Jack as the first name - Jack is a shortening of James.

I like James and Jack though so could you not call him James and use nn Jack?

Lucas is very "now" and I don't like the others...

babyboybluex · 07/01/2022 17:25

Thank you for the additional suggestions, they are great!

@northernbutterfly Definitely! If we go for Jack, we wouldn't use James as the middle name.

@Tal45 I get what you mean... my partner isn't sold on the name so I think it will be coming off the list 😜
