Just that really. What are people's thoughts?

Palavah · 07/12/2021 12:42

Nay

EverNapping · 07/12/2021 12:43

No

TokyoSushi · 07/12/2021 12:43

No x a million!

Lockdownbear · 07/12/2021 12:44

Nay looks like a spelling mistake, ti-ga, is that how it's meant to be pronounced tiger?

HeyGirlHeyBoy · 07/12/2021 12:45

Nay

sprinklesontoast · 07/12/2021 12:45

Yeah, pronounced same as the animal.

givemepiece · 07/12/2021 12:46

Omg please no

You're aware of the crap American rapper who makes a fortune on only fans that goes by that name?

But even so, even without him, it's a NO

amsadandconfused · 07/12/2021 12:46

No

EurghCobwebs · 07/12/2021 12:46

As in the rapper? I think that says it all really

TuesdayRuby · 07/12/2021 12:46

Nay! It reminds me of that awful rapper that Kylie Jenner went out with.

I know of a little boy called Tiga (tee-ga). That’s quite cute. I think his mum is Italian and his dad is German.

WhatsMyNameGonnaBeNow · 07/12/2021 12:46

Awful, don’t do it.

squee123 · 07/12/2021 12:47

Very youneek. And ridiculous.

SylvanianFrenemies · 07/12/2021 12:48

Nay

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 07/12/2021 12:48

This will be the only time I say it but, Tiger is a better name.

Cotswoldmama · 07/12/2021 12:50

Just name him Tiger without the 'unique' spelling.

Negligee · 07/12/2021 12:51

@StrychnineInTheSandwiches

This will be the only time I say it but, Tiger is a better name.
Yes, exactly! Much better. #

OP, consider that this child may well move around geographically in his/her life, beyond regions where 'Tiger' and 'Tyga' are homonyms, like where I live, for instance.

WonderHen · 07/12/2021 12:51

No.

Lockdownbear · 07/12/2021 12:51

@sprinklesontoast

Yeah, pronounced same as the animal.
Please don't do that to a child, use it for a cat or cuddy toy then it would be funny.
Waspie · 07/12/2021 12:52

Fuck no.

Hoppinggreen · 07/12/2021 12:52

No
Tiger s bad enough but that’s not even a word

SiobhanSharpe · 07/12/2021 12:52

There's a young actor called Tiger or Tyger.
Believe his parents were in the business too (sort of...)
Perhaps nay in the circs?

Hoppinggreen · 07/12/2021 12:53

@Cotswoldmama

Just name him Tiger without the 'unique' spelling.
You mean yooneek spelling surely?
mumsiedarlingrevolta · 07/12/2021 12:54

No -absolutely no chance

Mischance · 07/12/2021 12:55

Er ...... you need to ask??!!

Councilworker · 07/12/2021 12:56

@SiobhanSharpe that would be the son of "Ben Dover" and Linzi Drew, adult film stars. He is Lindzi James Tyger Drew-Honey on his birth cert. Presumably following the mumsnet rule to give him one name he can use if he becomes a judge.
