Not my favourite...what about the Irish name Tadhg which is pronounced like Tiger without the 'r'?

Scoobapro · 07/12/2021 14:05

Sorry to say this but absolutely not

SmellyNelliey · 07/12/2021 14:06

Actually I didn't know this at the time... But she's a beautiful little girl with a beautiful name in my eyes and your opinion means nothing sweetie🙄 so you may as well just scrolled on bye...

VitalsStable · 07/12/2021 14:07

Imagine if he's a meak little boy and you've saddled him with the name of a majestic fierce big cat!

HollyandIvyandAllThingsYule · 07/12/2021 14:07

@PleasantBirthday

Well that's unexpected. I would have thought this board would be fully behind a misspelled name inspired by a rapper.

Oh good lord, he will never ever be taken seriously. Don't do that to your poor child.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 07/12/2021 14:10

I know an adorable boy called Tiger. It really suits him. But it definitely needs to be spelled Tiger.

Strangevipers · 07/12/2021 14:10

Personally I prefer

Mosquito

Spelt

Moz-skeet-ohh

Very elegant

SmellyNelliey · 07/12/2021 14:10

😂😂😂 Each to there own hunny... But for me my daughter is beautiful with a beautiful name thankyou.

DameAlyson · 07/12/2021 14:11

Your child you name them what you like.

Your child but not your name. It's the child who will have to live with it for the next 80-odd years.

People can change their own names by deed poll if they think they've picked such a great name and they want to use it so much.

ofwarren · 07/12/2021 14:14

No

mrstea301 · 07/12/2021 14:34

After the DJ?

If your heart is set on it, there's a lovely Irish boys name that's pronounced Tige, it's spelt Tadhg.

Billandben444 · 07/12/2021 14:49

Nay

Timeforwinterclothes · 07/12/2021 15:27

Why set you and your DS up for the inevitable eye rolls and laughing behind your back? Give him a name that won't embarrass him.

Lulu1919 · 07/12/2021 15:28

Nooooooooooo

Anoisagusaris · 07/12/2021 15:32

Tyga and Tiger and not pronounced the same is many accents.

Tyga is just awful.

For the posters suggesting Tadhg, I doubt the anyone who would use Tyga would be interested in a traditional Irish name.

lynxca16 · 07/12/2021 15:34

No, just that

TheFreaksShallInheritTheEarth · 07/12/2021 16:19

Nay, nay and thrice nay.

MinnieJackson · 07/12/2021 16:21

I can't read it without saying it in a New York accent, like judge judy.

SingingSands · 07/12/2021 16:26

I actually quite like it!

I know a boy called Tyla, which could be an alternative.
