Looks, personality, age etc. Please don't be offended. I love it when my name comes up hilarious. 🤣

Jenny is 45 and describes herself on social media as a “feminist housewife”. She has two children which she (not even humble) brags about most days on fb although secretly she’s exhausted by them and has significant, but she thinks, well concealed anxiety over.

Her husband Nathan, is a sweet soul but very much in her slightly militant shadow. Jenny is very left wing and very anti Brexit but tends to drone on about policy so most people tend to switch off. She’s on the waiting list for a local allotment so she can teach the children about growing broccoli. The children are not enthusiastic about this in the slightest and would rather play Pokemon.

Penelope

knackeredcat · 22/11/2021 08:40

Penelope is petite, in her early 50s and is an outreach worker. She's originally from the South East but went to university in Leeds and stayed there. Her colleagues call her Pen. She doesn't like this but she loves her job and really wants to make a difference. She likes WFH as she can tend more to her indoor plants and knows nobody will use her Ivory Cats mug that she's had from the 90s.

Gareth

RosiePosieDozy · 22/11/2021 10:43

Gareth goes by Gary. He's in his late 40s and is a farmer in rural Yorkshire. He has very dark brown hair which is greying and is a grumpy man.

MadisonAvenue · 22/11/2021 12:17

Danielle is 28 and a single mother. She has brown eyes, tight natural curls which she struggles to tame and dimples. Her 5 year old daughter is her double.

BlueFlavour · 22/11/2021 12:51

But are you a White Witch?

RosiePosieDozy · 22/11/2021 13:47

Julia is a beautiful lady in her early sixties. She has a light grey bob, wears gorgeous smart coats and lots of expensive fine jewellery. She lives in a modern townhouse in the city centre.

Sonia

gildalily · 22/11/2021 14:18

Sonia is a kindly 54 year old soul. Likes to go to the pub on a Friday and is often taken in by men looking for a good time, whilst she's looking for the real thing. She lives in a bed sit with her cat, Jones, and she watches all the soaps but none of them are as good as they used to be. She shops for two elderly neighbours and sometimes she buys herself a little something from their pension money. Not much. Just a half bottle. She does so much for them after all.

She has brown hair. Dyes it herself at home Would love to go to the salon but she can't afford that sort of thing with her wage from the corner shop. She sometimes treats herself from there too, if nobody's looking.

Melanie

NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy · 22/11/2021 19:15

Melanie is an extremely shy woman of 50, single and happy living with her 12 cats in a village in Dorset. She works part time as a librarian in her village library and enjoys buying cream buns from the bakery in the village every day. She's a bit overweight (those cream buns!) and has the same frizzy bob she had at school.

In secret she's a lesbian but she cannot think how to begin to pursue that side of herself, so she takes comfort in her small circle of great women friends. She's kind, extremely secretly generous to charity, and a quietly strong pillar of the community.

Gloria

Helpimfalling · 22/11/2021 19:52

Gloria is in her early forty's.

forty four to be precise.

She's curvy but borderline getting a little weighty since corona. Must be All her amazing cooking. Although she keeps active by helping out at her local soup kitchen lately as she's decided she wants to give to the community and she's an amazing cook so why not.
She's kind and people are close to her heart being an outreach worker She's a people person.

She never had children and wanted to pursue a singing career but the closest she got was being a back up singer for a few big soul acts.

She loves her nieces and nephews and has them round for 'good food Sunday' where she cooks lots of different dishes like her famous curry goat!

She been unlucky in love all her life but now she's decided her independence is her biggest asset and she's going to nurture that like there's no tomorrow!

She's toying with the idea of buying a cat but she's thinking maybe to foster but thinks it will fuck with her independence.

Saving to travel to Thailand so may skip the fostering till she's back

Shelley

DedalusBloom · 22/11/2021 20:16

Poor old Smelly Shelley. She never dropped that nickname from
School and it's haunted her ever since. She wasn't even that smelly - I mean there was the one time she sharted in her gym knickers but it didn't really warrant a lifetime of the nickname following her around, surely?

The problem is she never moved out of her home town so she still gets it shouted at her across the street by the awful Barry Birtwhistle from time to time. And sometimes the men who were her classmates come into where she works at the builders merchants and snigger " Hello Smell" across the counter at her. " I just rise above it," she tells people. But still, it hurts.

It's not fair really. Shelley is a trim 50 year old who takes great care in her appearance. She's a regular at Raymond's salon, having her highlights done every 6 weeks like clockwork. Just enough to blend in the grey that's starting to appear. Raymond's got ever such a light touch like that, and he's been egging her on to think about Botox recently as well. He's got a lady who does, you see. Ever so discreet. And there's no denying the lines on Shelley's forehead are starting to creep in a bit. Even Jason her husband has said she's been looking tired lately.

She told Raymond she'd think about it, but she's already wondering if Jason would notice if she took a little out of the joint account to cover it.

Scout

RosiePosieDozy · 22/11/2021 21:14

Scout is a ten year old girl who is sent to live with a distant auntie during a war. She spends her days climbing trees and building tree houses.

Simon

Chunkymenrock · 22/11/2021 21:26

Simon=50 year old sensible fireman with 2 kids. Joshua.

danascully96 · 23/11/2021 00:58

Joshua is a laidback, handsome college student. Tanned skin, floppy brown hair, and with twinkling brown eyes to match his dazzling Hollywood smile, Joshua is always popular. He positively glitters with the obvious blessings of a good life spent in the upper reaches of society. Despite having no opinions of his own beyond drinking and sports, Joshua attracts widespread attention and applause because of his lovable and cheerful nature, which is perhaps helped by his lack of deep thoughts.

Charlotte?

Shasha17 · 23/11/2021 04:52

Charlotte is late twenties with a bitchy resting face. She spends a lot of her time rolling her eyes, sighing loudly and folding her arms. She has a fiance, Joey, who she is horrible to. She only tolerates him because she likes saying she's engaged, and because he's in the army so he's away a lot.

Charlotte works in an office but she has vague ideas about moving on to something else someday soon, some of higher education, but she can't think what to study as she doesn't really like anything.

Whenever she goes on nights out with her friends, she drinks too much and ruins the night because someone has to carry her home/spend the night comforting her while she drunk cries about nothing/stop her snogging a stranger/stop her starting fight etc. Her friendship group are friends from school who stuck together more out of habit than anything else, and they sort of wish they could have a nice evening out without her drunkenly ruining it but they're too scared to not invite her because she can be very mean.

Maude

SunShinesBrightly · 23/11/2021 06:10

Maude is a 98 year old woman and lives in a nursing home. She has no living relatives and her daughter died last year at the age of 78.

Maude is sharp as a pin. Trapped in an old body that doesn’t work very well any more her mind is as clear as it ever was.
She remembers everything and spends her day watching the other residents and being talked to as if she were 3 years old ‘Time for your cup of tea now Maude, that’s it, up we get’.
She doesn’t mind. She knows that things could be worse - at least the staff in her care home are nice to her and she is well cared for.

Time goes slowly but she enjoys listening to the radio and sleeping. She sleeps a lot during the day and spends time at night awake looking at her photo albums in the privacy of her own room.

Maude was a midwife for all of her working life. She ‘retired’ when she was 60. She has seen thousands of babies being born and reflects on the cycle of life. She has outlived many of those babies for some inexplicable reason.

Maude lived with her husband in the family home until his death at the age of 65. She misses her husband and daughter, parents, brothers and sisters more than anyone will ever know and wonders when it will be her time to go too.
