Marigold

I've heard of a Marigold that goes by Goldie and thought it was really nice. What are your thoughts on Marigold with the nickname Mary?

I like Marigold but not Mary. Mary just makes me think of the miserable Bennet sister from the BBC adaptation and vulva’s weirdly as my friend always called hers Mary when we were little
Marigold makes me think of the Darling Buds of May which was lovely.

Actually come to think of it I like all the Darling Buds of May names-but have used most on my hens.

My neighbour’s ginger cat is Marigold - she’s an absolute beauty. I’m not sure for a person though.

I like Marianne, Mariella, Marissa, Marisol (it’s Spanish for all the philistines) but not Marigold.

But Mary = vagina.

In my mind it's with Flora as possible name for a cartoon cow.

If you were to go for it I prefer 'Mari' to 'Mary'
