Flora Katherine or Josephine Iris

Firstly, sorry if I've posted this twice. I'm sure I posted it but then it disappeared!

Which name do you prefer? Flora will be Flo I expect. Josephine Josie, Effie, or Posey, whatever comes naturally.

I'm a big fan of Josephine, it's a family name with, as you say lots of options. We have Jo and Josie and Josephina.
It goes well with Iris too.

Both gorgeous! But I love Josephine Iris (both individually and together as a whole set) so that would be my vote.

Flora! Don't like Josephine at all.

I'd have Katherine Iris.

Effie is short for Euphemia so don't really know where that came from!
Posy is nicer than Posey - which looks too much like someone who likes posing (as opposed to a pretty bunch of flowers).

Josephine is a beautiful name, if I could pick my own name it would be Josephine!

My daughters name is Iris so I obviously love that too, so Josephine Iris is my pick.

Celestine isn't great and there isn't an obvious shortening if she doesn't like it.

I like them all except Flora as it reminds me of margarine.

Effie is a well-known nickname for Josephine. It's literally within the name! Could spell it Ephi I suppose, but looks odd to me.

You're right about Posy though.

Katherine is my lovely granny's name. I don't love it either, but I do love her!

I've changed my mind about Celestine - almost immediately upon posting it

I like both Flora and Josephine, but Flo is awful. Josie, Posy etc are fine. I would assume Effie was short for Euphemia, but I guess it’s OK for Josephine. Both are nicer that Celestine.

I LOVE Flo. It's part of why I love Flora. I don't mind if posters don't like the nicknames as they'll mostly be used at home, just wanting opinions on the full names, thank you! I don't know why I mentioned potential nicknames really as it's not especially relevant! Sorry!

Actually, Josephine's nicknames are relevant as there are so many choices! And I would like opinions on Josephine's nicknames, just not worried about Flo
