Names as beautiful as Lucy

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved the name Lucy. It's not too long, has a bright youthful feel and is a classic. I've known for a while that when I became pregnant I wouldn't be able to use it because DH has a DD named Lucy, so the name is out of the question.

Can you recommend me some girls names that are just as beautiful?

I'm not keen on Elizabeth, Anna or Katherine as have been suggested to me by my mum.

No suggestion but remembered I know half brothers both called James, have the same father, called, James.

George Edward Foreman has 5 sons called George Edward Foreman.

Call both his kids Lucy

That is so fucking weird.

Emily gives the closest vibe to Lucy, it's also a pretty classic which could be Victorian/Edwardian or modern.

That is so fucking weird.

I suppose you wouldn’t do what I do when calling my kids. If I want dd6 it’s Mike-I mean Jessie-I mean ANNA.

If she wanted them down for dinner she could just shout ‘Lucys! Dinner.’ Or if she wanted the toys tidying ‘please can a Lucy pick the toys up.’

And Darcy /Darcey is nothing like Lucy, true it ends in the same sound, but whilst Lucy is a traditional name, appearing in literature, a saint's name etc, Darcey (as a first name) is one of those very modern surname-as-firstname inventions. Has quite a pretty sound, but just wrong for a girl. Darcy will always be Mr Darcy from P&P to me!
