Baby name, Winter??

We are planning our second baby soon and if we have a girl I love the name Winter. However, surname will be Williams and I'm not sure if it sounds too much? Any thoughts would be welcome and also middle name ideas :) Thanks.

Love it, and I'm not even a fan of Winter really!

It's good alliteration - quite gentle. It really has a great ring to it.

My girl has winter as a middle name. She loves it.

I don't think winter Williams sounds bad at all. Some alliteration doesn't work with names but that sounds good.

Just wanted to update this post to say we have since had a beautiful baby girl.
Winter Victoria Williams arrived 8th January 2023. We love her name and we've received lots of compliments.

Haven't read the full thread but just incase it hasn't been said
'winter is coming' the catchphrase from game of thrones said in a sexual way/with innuendo really put me off using the name when it was on our shortlist (childish brother in law pointed it out)

As I said I liked it enough to be on our shortlist for DC so I obviously like the name- so congratulations op 💐
I was trying to be helpful to someone who had posted asking for opinions on the name and I simply gave mine when I saw this thread pop up in active threads. I'm not the first and I won't be the last to do that.
