Lois or Alice

I always feel Lois is not a real name

But you're wrong, because it is 🙄

I know Lois is a real name but to me it always sounds a bit unfinished or like a nickname, I can’t quite put my finger on why.

I really don't like Alice it always gets much love on Mumsnet though.

Alice is fine. I’d go for the Welsh spelling (a theme in my bias!)

I love the name Lois, it feels like it due for a comeback were as Alice feels like it has been around forever and is dull and tired.

Prefer Alice. To me, it's a timeless classic.
It's strong, elegant and has a magical element to it probably due to Alice in Wonderland which I love

Lois is a nice name. It has more of an edgy feel and is definitely more of a modern name.
Not keen on how it looks written down.
