Amber?

Hello,

Amber is the only girl name that my partner & I both agree on, but it’s not at the top of either of our lists, so looking for some feedback :)

No. don't like it.
and does sound like sister to chardonnay.

We've got a 7 year old Amber. She's the only one in her school but she loves her name and the fact it's a little different.

My beautiful niece is Amber-Rose.

@AuntieStella . I’ve got an Amber and named her after the heroine in this book.

It does make me think of that weapon that won Love Island...but she's unlikely to be an enduring reference. I don't mind it. Has a warm feel as a pp said.

I know 3 Ambers, all in completely different parts of my life and all different ages. I think it is a nice name, not out there but not overly popular either.

I really like it. Have only met a handful but they have all been lovely! Not common but also not too out there. Easy to spell and pronounce.

I think it's a pretty name, it's unusual now for younger girls . I know two but they are both in their late twenties and not in the least bit chavvy.
It would make a change from the more popular names.

I quite like it. I think it does seem a little American which is fine and although people are saying it's dated it's not dated the way some names like Tiffany are as it was never as popular, so I think many people don't know that many Ambers. I haven't met any that I can think of so don't associate it with a particular age group.
