Sibling for India and Rafferty

Looking for inspiration for a name which goes well with India and Rafferty? Don’t know what we are having. Quite like Bodhi for a boy but nothing really shouting out to us in the way of girls names. Georgia maybe possibly?!

Thanks @TatianaBis

Lord, most of the names suggested on here are so up their own arse and only for upper middle class, London-dwellers. Bohdi is ridiculous. Where has this one upmanship in naming one's child come from?

Rafferty is lovely. India is very of its time, but nice. Please think carefully before choosing an out there, pretentious name you'll regret.

Sage? Why not use Basil? Just as ridiculous.

Oi! I'm upper middle class and would never dream of calling my kids such utterly pretentious names.

This is funny because I know 2 very working class families in my area of the Midlands (the sticks) with babies called Bodhi. Bizarrely one male and one female!

But if the OP had given a shit about your opinion on the name Rafferty, she’d no doubt have asked for opinions on the name Rafferty 🤷🏻‍♀️.

joystir59 · 11/08/2021 21:09

Rafferty only acceptable imo if child has Irish origins or connections.

BasiliskStare · 11/08/2021 21:10

William , John . Celia , Lydia ?

Personally ( & I know 2 ) Jasper is not a favourite name of mine but clearly is for some & suits them.

Good luck

Bodhi is appalling. Absolute man-bun of a name. Please don't.
Agree that India and Rafferty have a posh 1990s Primrose Hill Crowd feeling. What about Milo, Horatio, Orla or Evangeline?

Rafferty is actually a very English middle class name.

No traces of the name as a first name in Ireland.
