Which name for our baby girl?

We are expecting a baby girl in a weeks time, and we still can't decide between the following names and would really like help picking!

We are torn between

Florence Nancy (Floss as a NN) or
Isabella Nancy (Bella as a NN)
Tallulah Nancy (Lula as a NN)

We like all three in equal measure, but we really cannot decide. Nancy is a family name, so that will probably stay- although we did like Eva as a potential middle name.

Florence!

Bumblecattabbybee · 27/07/2021 15:02

Florence is sweet and vintage but very overdone.

Isabella is beautiful and classy but also very overdone.

Tallulah is fabulous - fiesty and a bit quirky while also seeming familiar. In my mind a Tallulah is a little bit posh and a little bit rebellious.

I'd choose Tallulah as I prefer less used names, but all are very pretty.

Also think Tallulah goes best with Nancy.

Isabella

I absolutely love Nancy and would choose that as the first name. Personally not too keen on your other options!

Noshowwithoutpunch · 27/07/2021 15:21

Isabella nn Bella. Definitely.Smile

Emimummy · 27/07/2021 15:33

Tallulah

Florence!

IVflytrap · 27/07/2021 16:02

Florence or Tallulah Smile

Isabella is pretty but very popular.

SnitchyBitch · 27/07/2021 16:06

I love Tallulah! Isabella is far too popular and over used, Florence is nice but Tallulah is the best.

Bimblybomeyelash · 27/07/2021 16:10

I’d go with Nancy as a first name! Otherwise they are all nice names.

MrsFin · 27/07/2021 16:10

Not Tallulah!

Amz6219 · 27/07/2021 16:17

Florence

Holidaydreams14 · 27/07/2021 16:22

We can’t have Nancy really as a first name as we have an N surname so it sounds a bit like a book character haha! But I love it :)

Tullulah definitely!

ValancyRedfern · 27/07/2021 17:32

Nancy is the best! Isabella is incredibly popular which would put me off. I'd go for Florence if you can't use Nancy.

RuthW · 27/07/2021 17:39

Florence Eva Nancy would be my choice.

I have a Florence. It's a bit popular but not as much as Isabella.

Tallulah is lovely too.

Hm2020 · 27/07/2021 17:41

Tallulah or Florence to me Isabella is way to popular and doesn’t work aswell the other have a strong feeling to them. Brilliant choices by the way

LostThings · 27/07/2021 17:44

Isabella

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 27/07/2021 17:48

I prefer classic Eva - although I can understand if Nancy is a family name you'd want to use it.

Tallulah is not my taste, but both Florence and Isabella are nice. I think both might be shortened though so I'd probably choose Isabella, (although I like elegant Isabel even more) as I prefer Izzy/Bella to Flo/Flossie.

DinosaurDiana · 27/07/2021 17:49

I like Nancy !

dcilovett · 27/07/2021 17:54

Florence!

DramaAlpaca · 27/07/2021 17:58

Florence, definitely. Second choice Isabella. Both beautiful, elegant, classy names.

A description which I'm afraid does not apply to Tallulah.

Cbeebiesrehab · 27/07/2021 18:48

Tallulah…I think Tally is a wonderful diminutive for this too.

But as for Nancy being ruled out due to the N surname…alliterative names are fabWink

mumsyme2 · 27/07/2021 18:54

FLORENCE OR TALLULAH. Everyone and their grandma is an Isabelle/a these days. I have to be honest though, Nancy sounds really bland and it doesn't ring nicely with any of those beautiful names. I'd go with Eva. (SORRY!)

FayeFayeFayeFayeFaye · 27/07/2021 19:03

Isabella.

Florence I’ve never liked and it’s so popular.

Tallulah is dreadful, sorry.
