Final girl names, how is it so hard?

I love this community so please help me choose our daughter's name from our finalists. You would not believe how difficult it has been to find names that we both like and that work promounciation wise in our three languages (English,French,Finnish).

Please be kind as these are our finalists and I'm already having a lot of anxiety for this. Middle names are Ida and Aurelia that are in our family.

Freya Ida Aurelia - I know this is popular but Freya is a cool nudge to our nordic background. Nn Frey Frey or Ray is nice

Amélie Ida Aurelia - love nn Millie, Mimi, Lili and that also all grandparents can pronounce

Léa Ida Aurelia - popular in France and Finland. The accent might make it a bit confusing but we wouldn't mind both pronounciations Lee-a and Ley-ah.

Other names we loved but didn't work for different reasons: Iris, Frida, Thea, Ella, Vivian, Sylvia, Edith, Lucy

I think it also depends on where you live. If you're in London or another big multicultural city, no one will even think twice about how to pronounce Lilja, or whether the name sounds foreign or not. They'll be used to seeing lots of different names around.

Very true. I am in london and I just got the list of reception class children’s names (one of my DCs will start reception in September) and there are lots of names on the list that I don’t know how to pronounce, so I looked them up. It’s great! How lovely to see so many beautiful names from all over the world in one classroom!

It’s so hard choosing names, OP. But go for whichever one you love the most. And you could always wait and see what feels “right” when she’s born. You might be giving yourself analysis paralysis (something I get a lot!) at the moment?

No, I don't think she's ever had Lee yet! She has a Leah in her class but the other kids and her teacher all pronounce her name properly. We always spell her name using the accent which I think makes people ask how to pronounce it. She often tells people to say it like Leia the Star Wars princess.

Freya is my favourite.

Love the middle name choices. Are you based in the UK? That might effect peoples answers. If you are, I think Freya is a bit too popular for me personally and Lea will be constantly misspelt (Leah). So that leaves Amelie - lovely name especially if you have French heritage.

My favourite is Lucy but
I quite like Amelie or Lea
