Thinking nn Bobby, Robbie and Bob which I love. Its also my late Grandad’s name which would be lovely just don’t know if people would think it was a bit bit old fashioned?

No. It feels old fashiioned to me. I went to school with a few Roberts/Robs and one Robbie. I know one baby Robert and I'm not a fan. Its not a 'classic' like John or William. Its in the same vein as Alan or Paul to me.

We considered Robert for DS2, after DP's dad, but went for my dad's name instead. I like it. Probably would have gone for Robbie.
