Samanther.
Would have nickname Sammy.

Not that spelling

Lotsachocolateplease · 21/05/2021 16:58

It’s actually a lovely name! It’s not heard that often now. Go for it!

hauntedvagina · 21/05/2021 17:00

Do you mean Samantha?

user1493494961 · 21/05/2021 17:11

Weird spelling.

Twinkie01 · 21/05/2021 17:14

You spell check has failed.

17caterpillars1mouse · 21/05/2021 17:30

Love Samantha. It is dd2s mn. Not Samanther though, hoping its an autocorrect mistake?

Happycat1212 · 21/05/2021 17:32

I really dislike it (both spellings)

DemelzaRobins · 21/05/2021 17:34

Definitely spell it as Samantha. I know a Pauler and she gets a lot of people assuming it's spelled Paula and wishes her parents had just used Paula.

Pemba · 21/05/2021 17:38

I like it, spelled Samantha! It isn't fashionable at the moment though, and you will get rigid thinking people automatically saying 'dated' but don't let that bother you.

Many of the names that ARE currently fashionable are unattractive and weird (Wren, Olive) or meh (Isla, Arya). Samantha is much nicer.

PassMeTheWotsits · 21/05/2021 17:42

Why not spell it samanthuuurrr?

legalseagull · 21/05/2021 17:44

I love samantha - Sam - for a girl. Cool but classic

Not your strange spelling though

MrsXx4 · 21/05/2021 18:00

Surely not that spelling though?

FelicityPike · 21/05/2021 18:02

Samanther?
Never ever seen it spelled that way. Never heard it with an R at the end (assuming that’s a pronunciation thing though).
Samantha is a lovely name, don’t ruin it like that.

SoapboxFox · 21/05/2021 18:16
Confused
StevieNix · 21/05/2021 18:21

That spelling is horrific OP
Samantha (spelt the usual way) is fine though

strawberry2017 · 21/05/2021 18:29

If it's with the spelling you have put. Then NO!
That's not the way to spell it.
If it's spelt correctly as Samantha then yes.

Beetlewing · 21/05/2021 18:31

I'm so so sorry but it's one of those names like Deborah/Debbie and Amanda/Mandy that are dated but not 'vintage' and sounds like a male transsexuals idea of a 'real lady' name

partyatthepalace · 21/05/2021 18:38

It’s spelt Samantha...

I quite like it.

Summertime21 · 21/05/2021 18:42

I like it if you spell it correctly

BiBabbles · 21/05/2021 18:52

Never seen it before. I've heard of Samandar as a masculine name which I thought this might be a version of, but - as shown by this thread most people will think it's meant to be Samantha.

Pemba · 21/05/2021 19:13

Absolute bullshit, Beetlewing.

PremierSmeage · 21/05/2021 19:20

Very dated.

ThatIsMyPotato · 21/05/2021 19:23

I like Samantha

lanbro · 21/05/2021 19:25

Not my cup of tea at all, should remain firmly in the 80s with Gemma and Amanda

WaitinginVain · 21/05/2021 19:39

It's a great name Wink. Please spell it correctly though.
