What names do you like but you have only ever met one of before?

My sister is pregnant for the first time at 43 and wants an unusual but real name and wants some inspiration.

I named my own after only once ever hearing someone called the name.

There are lots of accents, especially in the UK they would sound the same! Not mine but plenty others

PlumpAndDeliciousFatcat · 09/05/2021 13:56

Bee-ba and bee-ber are homophones in non-rhotic accents.

notacooldad · 09/05/2021 14:01

I would have said I've only ever known one Genevieve but this morning at our village playground there were two.

One was 4 years old and the other was about 12. It's a small village so even more unlikely.

@drpet49

Neve Teddy Beatrice Lucian
Teddy is very common where I live- several colleagues used the name as well, so it could be like Jack/Harry/Alfie/Archie soon.
Maireas · 10/05/2021 10:47

Heathcliff would certainly be memorable!
