Names you have only ever met one of

What names do you like but you have only ever met one of before?

My sister is pregnant for the first time at 43 and wants an unusual but real name and wants some inspiration.

I named my own after only once ever hearing someone called the name.

Fascinating thread and I agree with pp’s observations about regional differences. Little Atticuses and Ottilies are quite common in some corners of London.

Valentina- mother was Italian, was friend of a friend

I'd never had had the guts for a name like Valentina but there's something about it that I love!

My husband has a name that he’s never met another of and not a single one has been recorded since 1996 which is the earliest you can easily search for. It’s not a made-up name and is fairly commonly used in America. I can’t really say it here because literally everyone in our entire county and possibly beyond will know who I am and I don’t want to out myself.
