I know Jane is a bit of a marmite name for many (plain Jane etc) but I really really don't feel that way. I adore Jane and Louisa for different reasons equally and can't decide which should go first... would appreciate any feedback Smile

Jane Louisa. Jane is so classic and strong sounding with some wonderful namesakes - it really needs to make a comeback. Louisa is pretty but I'm not keen on the nn Lou personally and I think it might be unavoidable.

The middle name will never be used unless you're cross with her so choose the one you like best to go first.

I like Louisa Jane the best but if you like the name Jane use that. Middle names are never used are they? I don’t know the middle names of my DC’s friends who I see pretty often for instance, my oldest DC knows his middle name but it’s never been used. Can’t remember the last time I heard my own middle name said out loud..
it would be a shame to waste a name you really love by putting it as a middle.

Agree with PP--both combinations are nice, but use the name you love best as the first one. Middle names do not get used much.
