Unsure of baby’s name!

Hi all! My baby is 5 months old and I’m really not sure if I like her name! Long story short, I suffered from PND and PNA and struggled with bonding for the first month and therefore couldn’t find the right name! She’s a beautiful and happy baby so starting to get mum guilt about it! She’s currently 6 months. My friends and family just roll their eyes with it now! Which do you prefer out of the following - ( just your favourites , I don’t need to know which you don’t like)
Emilia (could shorten to Mila or Millie) (birth name)
Lyra
Heidi
Adeline
Iris
Norah
Ava

The birth name you chose is gorgeous, Emilia. It's pretty, smart and will grow well with her into Adult hood xx

Of those names my favourite is her birth name. I like both nicknames too....also think Emmy is a cute nickname or Mia both could be used.

I also really like Heidi, Norah and Ava.

Iris and Lyra would be my next favourites on your list, but neither are quite as lovely as Emilia.

Emilia was going to be my girls name but we had a little boy. I wanted to use the nickname Millie too. I think it's a beautiful name and a lovely nickname too. Plus it can also have other nicknames that she or her friends may use as she gets older too. Why aren't you liking it now?

I wonder if you feel that the name is ‘too big’ for her, as it has lots of syllables. This happened to me! My DD soon grew into her name!

Quite like them all although Emilia is my favourite.

I really like Adeline but it’s so different from Emilia.

@JaneExotic Yes in some ways I think it is a bit ‘big’ for her- my 3 year olds is a 1 syllable name!@pinklillie I think the reason why I’m slightly off it is so many people call her emily (?!!🤷🏼‍♀️) and the spellings... even worse! We’ve had Amelia Emelia Amealia ( don’t ask🙈) and I think just thought, what a pain if she has to explain!) Iris Ava and Lyra (husbands fav) we liked too! I think we just wanted a name that was original but not too out there- and now I’ve really over thought it 😂

I can’t stand iris. Ava is another over popular one. Lyra is gorgeous.

Re: the spelling, my friend has an Emilia and everyone always writes/assumes Amelia.

Emilia is definitely my favourite on the list. And I like Millie as a nickname.

If Emilia wasn’t on the list, my favourite would probably be Iris.

I like Lyra but my favourite is Heidi.

I 'get' the issues with the birth name.

Norah is my favourite out of that list.

They are all beautiful names. It doesn’t matter if people misspell Emilia. Some would have trouble spelling Ava or Iris.

I only like the birth name.
