Boy due in 7 weeks - opinions please!

7 weeks to go and we're still very undecided.

Short listed names:

• Rupert
• Jack
• Robert
• Hugo

They are all perfectly decent names and you can’t really go wrong with any of them.

Big bro is Louis - pronounced Louie.

Jack or Robert

Hugo without a doubt. Robert is a bit meh and the others are very over popular at the moment.

Really like Robert, and really like Jack.

Hugo is okay.

Rupert is awful.

In my opinion

All decent names.

Rupert would be my preference.

All good names, Hugo or Jack are fab. Wouldn't go for Robert though with a sibling called Louis, makes me think or Robert Louis Stephenson.

Robert first choice. Jack ok but overused. Have always hated Rupert and Hugo almost as bad.

Robert - due a revival, lovely as is and Rob/Robbie, Bobby and Robin all great nns.

Hugo I quite like but v of the moment. Prefer Hugh.

Rupert I am not personally keen on, but gathering popularity.

I like Hugo just as much but saying ‘Louis and Hugo’ is not really comfortable for me, it’s like my tongue gets trapped for some reason Hugo and Louie not an issue.

I like Hugo best. It's a good selection.

My brother is 40 and a robert, so due a revival. I don't think it was particular fashionalble then, so its a very safe name.

All are lovely names.

My favourites are Hugo and Rupert.

Robert is a good standard traditional name, and I like Rob as a nickname.
Jack has been extremely popular for many years so I wouldn't choose it.

Not my favourite but I would say Hugo goes best with Louis.

Of your list, my order would be Jack, closely followed by Robert, Hugo and then Rupert. Really don’t like Rupert.

Rupert - I love this. Roo is a very cute nickname as well
