Tess is very sweet, not a fan of the other names really especially not Mariah.

Tessa sounds more like a dogs name. Tess is more timeless.

I like Helena, though it’s rather stately. But would worry about varying pronunciations from HELL-enna to Hel-AYna to Hell-EEna.

Love Tessa over Tess but would probably be nicknamed Tess anyway

Also really like Jane

The others have a couple of ways of pronouncing them so I’m less keen

I love Tess, love it.
It was either that or Sophie for our daughter ( choose Sophie) but if I’d had another girl she would have been Tess.
I really like Jane too.

I like Anya and Helena, but Helena would be a no for me due to the several pronunciation issues. I would find it annoying having to explain each time.
