Names for boys (aristocratic/posh/fancy)

Hi All!
Looking for a fancy sounding middle name for our son.
We're from a family who're used to really quite fancy names - but we chose to go for something pretty middle of the road by their standards for our boy. Because of this, it'd be great to find a sophisticated middle name for him instead.
And before you start with comments about 'posh' and upper class and 'why would you want your son to have a posh name' and all the class warrior stuff, there's no need. Preferences are preferences and we don't need to get into a debate on the ridiculous class system in this country, we get it.
Names we considered Hugo, Montgomery, Rafferty, etc. Nothing too extreme like Ptolemy or anything - they're not THAT posh!
DS name begins with L.
Thanks for your help :-)

Apart from the fairly standard Devon/Cornwall names there, it sounds like taking the register at a boarding kennel.

@weedsnseeds1
That's interesting, I've mostly had a korma type meal in Indian restaurants but now find them a bit mild and so maybe something a bit 'otter would be a nice change.

Rupert (the ultimate posh boy name)

This made me laugh @VienneseWhirligig. My neighbour recently had a grandson and she rolled her eyes when she told me that they’d named him Rupert as ‘we don’t live in the right postcode for Rupert’ 🤣

So by posh you just mean interesting and slightly unusual? Loads of suggestions here. But you’d be better off saying what the L stands for so folk can see if names work. Im guessing Louis.

Louis Sebastian
Louis Ferdinand
Louis Percy
Louis Jonathan

I think you need to look towards Ancient Rome (maybe an Emporer or God) thus making it sound like you took inspiration from your very own marble statue gallery

Augustus
Julius
Claudius
Octavius
Ambrosius/ Ambrose
Jupiter
Neptune

HugeBowlofChips · 07/02/2021 00:08

Or an abstract noun (often done for girls - Grace, Hope, Honour, Patience - less so boys)

Justice
Foritude
Love
Truth

I always thought Felix was posh but I am very working class so can’t be sure.

Redsquirrel5 · 07/02/2021 00:59

My DD has a friend called Felix.

Torquil I used to know one.

Jolene

Shmithecat2 · 07/02/2021 01:03

The 2 poshest men I know (proper upper class) are called Simon and Jamie....
