I'd go for Isla but hate Izzy, so it's a non-runner for me. If you like Izzy I'd pick it.

Isla - lovely, this would be my first pick
Daisy - Daisy gets a bad response on here but I like it
Alice - lovely as well
Ava - this would probably be my next though I much prefer Ada
Sophia - nice but a bit dull
Grace - nice but really dull..

All gorgeous. My favourites are Alice or Sophia - beautiful names. I also this Ava is lovely. Not as keen on Daisy, but think it would make a nice middle name with one of the others.

Daisy is too cutesy for me, and I'm not keen on Isla either (plus it's very trendy now too).

As much as I like the sound of Ava and Sophia they are just too popular imo (top 10, plus their variants and soundalikes are very popular too - Sophie, Sofia, Eva, Ivy, Evie, Ada), so your DD would blend into many others; and Grace is very popular as a middle name as well as a first name (so feels a bit overdone to me).

So that leaves Alice - classic, timeless and popular (but not really overused) and would be my choice from your list.

I know an Isla nicknamed Izzy (though I think she spells it Issey? Proumced like Izzy, anyway).
Tbh I think anything starting with 'is' has Izzy potential.

  1. Isla
  2. Ava
  3. Sophia
  4. Grace
  5. Alice
