Jasper’s baby brother

Hi, Jasper is having a baby brother but we want a name that suits and compliments his name too!

We like quirky & cool but still sturdy, classy names.

So far, I love Hudson. My partner loves Otis. I also love Otto as this is my Grandads name who passed away just a few months before we found out we were expecting. & another name I love is Teddy. Both Otto and Teddy would be potential middle names.

What is your preference between Hudson & Otis as Jaspers little brother?

Any other suggestions similar to ours? TIA x

I prefer Otis, but not sure this would be good with Otto as a middle name. Rather depends on your surname!

I know a Jasper whose younger brother is Oscar. I think they work well.

And out of your list I like Otto and Otis.

Don't like Hudson at all, far too American.

Otis is lovely and fits so well with Jasper. Two very classic and underused names.

I don't think Jasper and Hudson go together very well but Otis Hudson is quite a nice balance between old-school and modern.

I think Hudson and Jasper sound nice together! I prefer Otis though and would prob prefer Otis Hudson if that’s an option. I think Otis and Jasper sound great 💙

Definitely Otis. Hudson is a completely different style to Jasper.

Otis is lovely. Hudson isn't lovely imo sorry

First name to come to mind was Jasper and Hamish - certainly a bit different but with a classic feel. I think this is why I don't like Hudson, it's seems very trendy / faddy rather than classic. Also love Otto (obviously not next to Otis), again not keen on Teddy as it seems faddy. I like Theodore though. Otis Theodore would be lovely

Jasper is gorgeous.
I don't think Hudson goes at all well - it has a really American down-market feel whereas Jasper is so cool and fresh.
I like Otis but prefer Otto.
Other names I think work well:

Hugo
Rufus
Matteo
Milo
Barnaby
