Jasper’s baby brother

Hi, Jasper is having a baby brother but we want a name that suits and compliments his name too!

We like quirky & cool but still sturdy, classy names.

So far, I love Hudson. My partner loves Otis. I also love Otto as this is my Grandads name who passed away just a few months before we found out we were expecting. & another name I love is Teddy. Both Otto and Teddy would be potential middle names.

What is your preference between Hudson & Otis as Jaspers little brother?

Any other suggestions similar to ours? TIA x

We have very similar tastes as I LOVE the name Jasper but couldn’t convince other half. We already have an Oscar and I’m currently expecting baby no:2 who will be named Felix if a boy. Other names on my list were

Jasper is nice. I'm not keen on your choices for his brother sorry (they sound too trendy to me - I see Jasper is more of a quirky but traditional name). Names that fit with Jasper to me would be names like Rufus, Felix, Tobias, Elias, Maximilian, Oscar, Rowan, Heath, Ezra, Lucian, Ivo, Asa, Gabriel, Atticus, Silas, Sebastian.

Otto and Otis are both great names, but where I live (london) Otis is very popular....if popularity bothers you go for Otto

Hudson is not a nice name and definitely doesn't go with Jasper. You'd have one kid with a fairly classy name and one with a (quite ugly sounding) American style name. Nothing wrong with an American style name but you said you want a name to compliment Jasper. Names with a similar vibe to Jasper are ones like Felix, Rowan, Ivo/Ivor, Silas, Otto/Otis, Finn..

I agree that Hudson is a very different style to Jasper.

I like Otis with Jasper.
