Opinions on boys names please

Hey. We’ve recently found out we’re having our second boy and we’re stumped for names. Of course I had a list of girls names as long as my arm . We just don’t seem to love anything ! We do know we like fairly normal names. Our DS1 is called Oliver (so we’re not concerned about popularity!).

Any thoughts on our list, or recommendations? Thank you

Jacob - hate Jake

Alexander - not Alex

Gabriel
Harrison

Really like Jackson but a friend has Jaxon

Love Theo, my only concern is it’s my boss’s son’s name. Not sure that’s a bit odd. We don’t socialise or anything, but still!

Elliot would be my pick

I would choose Elliot too as it goes nicely with Oliver.

I think you have a great boys list, and I love Oliver!

Joshua - I really like Joshua.
Elliot - Sweet little name, I could imagine a gentle little boy carrying this name off well.
Jacob - I love Jacob, but not overly keen on Jake either.
Theo - Also really like Theo, but prefer Theodore on the birth certificate.
Alexander - Love this name and think it goes best with Oliver if that’s important to you.
Noah - Beautiful name too.
Anthony - Big fan of Anthony and very refreshing atm.
Gabriel - Really love Gabriel.
Harrison - Not to my taste and feel it’s different style to your other name choices.

Not much help sorry, I love the majority of them! Alexander, Anthony and Gabriel would be too three for me.

I know two sets of brothers called Oliver and Elliot!

For some reason, of your list I like Elliot with Oliver - maybe because it repeats some of the same sounds? Gabriel also works well too though.

Normally I would say Oliver is pretty classic so I think you should stick with similar - but it's probably not a good idea to go for Alexander or Joshua if you really hate Alex and Josh. Maybe Henry, William, Thomas, Edward, Nathaniel, Tobias/Toby or Samuel?

I like them all except Harrison and Anthony. First choice would be Gabriel, although difficult to choose.

Love Elliot. It goes well with Oliver too.

Really like Gabriel and the shorter version Gabe.

Elliot is my favourite from your list but not sure I'd use it with an Oliver - maybe because I've been watching old episodes of SVU though.

My second choice would be Gabriel.

Love Elliott, and I think the nickname El/Elly for a boy is really cool. Noah is also nice. Both go well with Oliver. Really not keen on Harrison or Theo.

Joshua - but don’t like Josh - it will be shortened my cousin is called Joshua and 2 friends all of which now josh if you don't like just rule out
