Aurora was originally our favourite, but I love Meadow too!! I’m so indecisive, which one do you like best?

Aurora. I wouldn't like to have to introduce myself as Meadow.

Tambourina · 31/12/2020 23:36

Meadow? Er.... just no.

Aurora - nice, but only if she can pronounce her 'r's.

BurtonHouse · 01/01/2021 00:03

Sorry but I hate them both. But Aurora is marginally better as at least you could call her Rory.

Charlottejbt · 01/01/2021 00:08

Aurora.

brimfullofasha · 01/01/2021 00:10

I prefer Aurora. Have you considered Aurelia?

JiltedJohnsJulie · 01/01/2021 00:11

Meadow for me.

scissorspaperrock · 01/01/2021 00:26

Meadow.

Aurora is the worst of the disney princesses.

Brighterthansunflowers · 01/01/2021 01:17

I love Aurora

Mally2020 · 01/01/2021 01:34

not keen on either but prefer meadow

Ellmau · 01/01/2021 02:12

Aurora is gorgeous. I wouldn't want a child called after a field.

notangelinajolie · 01/01/2021 02:24

Aurora is a name. Meadow is a field.

SE13Mummy · 01/01/2021 02:29

Meadow. It's less vowely and princessy than Aurora.

MercyBodle · 01/01/2021 11:26

Both are nice names. I prefer the more unusual and interesting Meadow.

Sausagedog1 · 01/01/2021 13:37

Love Meadow. Aurora is ok but I find it hard to say. It's very.... flouncy. Meadow is more down to Earth and gentle.

Ithinkim · 01/01/2021 13:39

I would be embarrassed to say hello my name is Meadow so would have to pick Aurora.

Are you okay with Rory as a nn as they all get called that that I've met.

wowfudge · 01/01/2021 13:40

It very much depends on the surname. Meadow is too try hard to me.

missmouse101 · 01/01/2021 13:42

I can't stand Aurora. It sounds like roar roar roar. Very ugly. Meadow is sweet.

pinkpinecone · 01/01/2021 13:49

Aurora

SnoozyBoozy · 01/01/2021 13:56

Aurora, because I associate it with a girl's name. I've never heard of anyone called Meadow, for me it's a field. I would also feel embarrassed to be called that (sorry!)

elizabethdraper · 01/01/2021 14:07

instead of meadow you could go with field

they mean the same thing

HeadlessGummyBears · 01/01/2021 14:15

Unless you have another middle name planned, how about Aurora Meadow?

lottiegarbanzo · 01/01/2021 14:20

Aurora, it's lovely, flows really nicely and is hard to mispronounce, in any accent.

Meadow doesn't sound like a name to me. It sounds like calling a child 'Field' or 'Hedge'.

lottiegarbanzo · 01/01/2021 14:22

If it's the floral abundance of a meadow (as opposed to a field) that appeals, how about Flora?

sesquipedalia · 01/01/2021 14:43

I can't get 'one man went to mow, went to mow a meadow' out of my head

lottiegarbanzo · 01/01/2021 15:58

Yes, me too. 'Three men, two men, one man and his dog, a cat, a ferret and a bag of old chips... went to mow a meadow' etc.
