Help me name a 4th boy!

I’m really struggling with names as I have three boys already so with their first names and middle names I’ve pretty much used up all the names I really like!

I like Oscar and Arthur but those have both been vetoed. I also like Atticus and Otto, but not sure if Atticus is a big pretentious and Otto is an odd choice since we have no German links. If I went for either of those I’d want to give the baby an uncontroversial middle name in case he hated his first name.

Please help me with suggestions for other names I might like or opinions on Atticus and Otto!

Edmund.

I think Otto flows better with your boys names you’ve already got. Adding Atticus to the mix would make them a bit of a mouthful, and I love Atticus

William, Sebastian, George and Otto/Oscar/Arthur just seems to work well.

Not keen on Atticus - I like the literary connection, but not the sound, and it's a bit name to live up to. Otto is nice, but not sure it's one I'd choose myself - sounds a bit abrasive perhaps. How about -

Otto is lovely and won't raise any eyebrows these days
Stick with that

I don't really like your choices of Atticus or Otto and I think your other three boys have great names. Theo would really work well.
I love names like Henry. Jude. Ben. Thomas.

DramaAlpaca · 05/12/2020 23:53

I don't mind Atticus but I'm not keen on Otto.

I also have three boys. If I'd had a fourth he'd have been Daniel or Finn. I ended up using Finn on the dog Grin

I love Atticus and Otto but agree they don’t fit with your other boys’ names.

Theo is a great name too and fits beautifully with the rest.

"William, Sebastian, George" and...

Thomas, Lucas, Isaac, Elijah, Jeremiah, Otto, Matthew, Jacob, Benjamin, Samuel, Alexander, James, Ezra (or maybe not with the George you already have), Noah, Nicholas, Joseph, Gabriel, Tobias, Aaron, Andrew, Rex, Max, Leon, Leo, Austin, Zachary, Lucien, Theodore/Theo, Malachi...

I love Atticus. It doesn't seem pretentious to me, though I don't really understand what that means! Not so keen on Otto, prefer Otis.

William, Sebastian, George and

Caspar
Quentin
Reuben
Atticus
Frederick

I really dislike Otto.

Growingyou · 06/12/2020 13:08

Don't love Otto (but perhaps because an otto is slang for a rubbish bin in Australia). I love Atticus written down but can't imagine having to call for Atticus at the park - it seems like a mouthful. Perhaps because there is no natural nickname "Will, Seb, George, Atticus!". Theo goes well, as does Arlo, Oliver.

Growingyou · 06/12/2020 13:09

Oh I just saw the suggestion of Samuel.

William, Sebastian, George and Samuel are a lovely sibset.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 06/12/2020 13:21

Like Otto!

Ivo
Wilf
Arthur

Milo
Jake

Don't know what you think of Evander, but I watched a video yesterday that said it was only used 9 times last year in UK, so if you want a more unique name...
