Boys name or girls name?

I know of both. More make them female. More surname than forename.

It's one of those 'cute' for a small boy but really really weird for a grown man names

I've taught one and he was a boy.

I've only met a couple and they were boys.

I'd assume boy.

Old Bill Bailey, sounds like biley. Please don't saddle someone with that it's not nice.

Sounds more like a girl's name, but the only one I know is a little boy. It’s a bit of an odd one, as so closely associated with alcohol.

I know two boys, one girl. I agree with pp, it's better as a surname or drink.

Dog name. I don't like it on humans at all.

Labrador.

Not a labrador, a golden retriever.

The only one I know is a golden retriever.

I know a female Bailey.

I think it's one of those names that can be for either sex - Leslie, Francis, etc.

The one I know of is a boy. Named because apparently they were drunk on Baileys when he was conceived

I know one child Bailey - a boy. I do also know of several dogs called Bailey too though and that's what I associate the name with now.

I have taught two: one boy and one girl. Unisex.

Unisex but more common for boys
