Which girls name out of these 2?

Hi everyone,

We have narrowed down our names to 2! They are:

-Marcie
-Riva (pronounced Reeva) but not keen on that spelling

Which is your favourite? If you dont like them thats fine but no need to reply if you like neither, just want to see what people prefer out of these 2.

I prefer Marcie out of your choices. I think that possibly Riva may be mispronounced as River.

Riva, but I know one, so would probably pronounce it correctly.

Love Marcie! With Riva, I think it looks like an alternate spelling of River, so I think most people will call her River.

Marcie is cute, but as a stand-alone name it’s a bit TOO cute. Marcella is nice.

We love both names and cant decide. We did think about the river thing but thought diva is 'iva' so people might still sound it like that.

@Jnl90 I would pronounce it the way you intended, but I’ve watched a lot of NCIS and love the name Ziva...

Riva I just hear River but also Riva is so synonymous with that poor woman that was allegedly murdered

Marcie is the nicer of the two, but as a diminutive of Marcella or Marceline or Marcia.

Not sure it's ideal to have to put the idea of 'it's pronounced like DIVA!' in people's minds?

I love Marcie, unusual and pretty.

I know lots of girls called Marcie. I like Riva and I don't think she'll get called River.
