Heidi for our daughter

Hi there

We are both in love with the name Heidi. Just wondering what people's opinions are on it? Trying to think long term for our daughter!

I think it’s lovely! I would have chosen it if dh had been on board.

I have a mum friend called Heidi and think it works for all ages - go for it!!

I absolutely love it. My cousin is called Heidi, she’s now in her 40’s and it has always suited her. We call her Hid mostly x

I really dislike this name. To me it's twee and babyish and I don't think it works on an adult. Sorry.

But if you both love it, that's your name sorted, don't listen to me!

I have a Heidi. I love it. She is called heid by her friends sometimes but it is rarely shortened. She likes it x

All the bunny's , teddies honeys and boo boos will grow up and it will be fine if you like aname as longs as it's not Adolph etc , go with it

I dislike it. One of those names that I don't get the appeal of. If it was my name I'd have to change it to be taken seriously. But you're not naming me. If it's a name that you would be happy to have yourself then it's not an issue, and it does seem to be generally liked.
