Mary or Maud?

Which do you prefer?

There’s a character on my little pony called maud, she’s very boring, talks in a monotone and has a pet rock.

I like Mary Maud Lastname!

Wow Maud is truly marmite! I think of a little Maud as very determined and serious - I think it’s cool. Mary is more cool and classic. Love them both and can’t decide!

Really?! I can see that Maud isn’t to everyone’s taste but what is wrong with Mary? It’s a totally classic name. I like it because it’s not common now but everyone will recognise it.

As for Maud, well I'm not too sure. It looks nicer spelled Maude, less harsh.

I truly love them both, you can't go wrong. Slight preference for Maud (though I prefer Maude spelling) because it's a bit "cooler" to me, but Mary is 100% due for a comeback.
