Alice, Emily or Rosie?
Just that really, which would you choose?

My sister has a cat called Rosie and Alice is a family name so I'd choose Alice.

lakeswimmer · 19/09/2020 20:20

TBH - none - but if had to choose one it would be Rosie. Much prefer Rosa though.

Aaliyahhh · 19/09/2020 20:21

Emily

FluffyEggsontoast · 19/09/2020 20:21

Wow love all 3!!

FluffyEggsontoast · 19/09/2020 20:22

I could pick any one of these lovely names depending on the day! Today I will pick Emily

micc · 19/09/2020 20:26

Alice

meow1989 · 19/09/2020 20:30

Emily

Mol1628 · 19/09/2020 20:31

Emily

tornadoalley · 19/09/2020 21:00

Alice or Rosie I would go with Rose though and nickname Rosie, because Rosie is cute on a little girl, but a bit childish for an adult.

BabyDust13 · 19/09/2020 21:22

Alice

MrsCrosbyNRTB · 19/09/2020 21:23

Alice or Rosa rather than Rosie

Nicecupofcoco · 19/09/2020 21:26

Alice!

emj314 · 19/09/2020 21:28

I'm an emily and have never liked the name, there are just too many of us! Hmm

DramaAlpaca · 19/09/2020 21:30

Alice for me, I love it.

I like Rosie, but I'd put Rose or one of the longer versions starting with Ros- on the birth certificate.

I'm not keen on Emily, it's nice enough just not for me.

MrsCalypsoGrant · 19/09/2020 21:43

If you would change Rosie to Rose, I'd go with that. Along with Grace, Rose has become this generation's middle name which is a shame as it's wonderful on its own.

If not, I'd go with Alice. Emily is predictable & boring to my mind.

Tillygetsit · 19/09/2020 23:07

Alice.

itsjakeandamy · 19/09/2020 23:29

Alice.

BalanceGreen · 20/09/2020 04:25

Alice; the most underused.
If Rosie, use it as a nickname for something else.

Buntyjones · 20/09/2020 04:34

Emily!

Whalewhale · 20/09/2020 04:38

Rosie

Iluv · 20/09/2020 04:53

Alice

CakeRattleandRoll · 20/09/2020 06:55

Rosalind nn Rosie

Ginger543 · 20/09/2020 07:58

Thankyou everyone, Alice seems to be a favourite so far, Emily and Rosie seem pretty even. I will keep Alice and Emily on my list, I'm not keen on the longer versions of Rosie but I know what people mean about it being a little twee, and the more I think about it the more dogs I can remember meeting called Rosie which does put me off a bit. I like all the Rose names but not Rosie on it's own. Cute on a small child but twee on an adult. Rose/Rosa are lovely. Rosalie has a similar sound to Rosie.

Alice and Emily are solid classics.

Violinmum1 · 20/09/2020 09:43

Alice is lovely.
