Isabel / Isobel / Isabelle?

Whats your favourite spelling?

Lovely name and was on my baby name list also. Personally, I would have gone with Isabelle. However, it would always have been shortened to Izzie as a NN 🤷‍♀️

I much prefer Isabella, but of the ones listed Isabel - but amongst my acquaintance Isobel is mist common.

It didn’t make it to my list for this reason as wanted a name with no spelling variations as our surname is a bugger for that!

Ishbel sounds like the person saying it is drunk.
I prefer Isabelle then you can use Belle instead of Bel for short.
