What does everyone think of this name? My other children both have two middle names aswell. Julie is after my grandma so definitely want that in there. Unsure on Eve, I love Myra though! Last initial is W.

Mya. Just drop the "r".

BeBraveAndBeKind · 01/08/2020 09:44

Marla is a lovely and unusual name. Orr how about Mirabel which means 'wondrous beauty'?

Bodgedboxdye · 01/08/2020 09:47

I actually didn’t think of Myra Hindley when I saw that. /:

Could you go for Martha?

MrsCrosbyNRTB · 01/08/2020 09:48

Maura
Mira (meera)
Amaia
Mary (I love this, very underrated imo. Was on my list for a girl)

Also love Maria

Congratulations!

Or more unusual, what about Mireille? It’s pronounced Muh’ray. There’s a fab actress called Mireille Enos.

Taikoo · 01/08/2020 09:54

Myra?
No.
It reminds me of Myra Hindley and its quite an fusty, old fashioned name.
A lot of other older people will associate it with Hindley too.

Julia and Eve are ok.

IsadoraQuagmire · 01/08/2020 09:55

Why on earth would people think of Myra Hindley? Lots of people are called Myra, it's a lovely name.

What about Maeve?

Commentutappelles · 01/08/2020 10:07

I taught a 3 yr old Myra last year, she was very sweet and once you have said the name 50 times a day, it loses all connection to you know who.
Julie Eve does not go together. Your others may have 2 mns but you don't have to squeeze one in if there isn't one you particularly like.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 01/08/2020 10:11

It's a shame about Myra as it's a very pretty name. Mind you there are plenty of Ians about nO one has ever said that's an unusable name, have they.

Julie Eve doesn't flow well and Myra is all Hindley to me.

Evelyn Julie flows much much better.

I've never heard of anyone being called Myra born after 1966. I couldn't think of a worse name to give an innocent child.

DanniArthur · 01/08/2020 12:09

Marnie or Maeve?
They both have a similar feel to Myra.

AllPlayedOut · 01/08/2020 12:09

No but that's because it's a much more common name than Myra and therefore people have numerous other associations with the name.

20viona · 01/08/2020 12:10

All terrible.

AllPlayedOut · 01/08/2020 12:11

Why on earth would people think of Myra Hindley? Lots of people are called Myra, it's a lovely name

Because she's notorious in the U.K and Myra isn't a particularly common name here so there are few other associations for people. I've met plenty of people called Rose, but never a Myra.

MondeoFan · 01/08/2020 12:16

I'd still be inclined to use it. Lots of names have associations. Look at Rose West, didn't stop people calling their child Rose.
How about Jack the Ripper, did people stop calling their babies Jack? No
