What do you think of first name Joy?

Really drawn to the name and its simplicity.

I like the sound of it but worry there would be a pressure to be cheerful all the time!

I love it. Joyful. However it is still rather dated ? I’d want it to become a little more used I think ?
No I actually just like it a lot.

Could it be a bit awkward if "Joy" suffers depression? Genuine question. I don't know.

The Joy I know is (was) very, very religious.

Funnily enough, both of the Joys I know are practising Christians. One is in her forties and the other is in her sixties. When I was a child, I knew another little girl called Joy. Her mother was a volunteer at the local church.

I think it's lovely.

I laughed WAY too hard at this Grin I've literally never had that thought before, even when my GP gave me antidepressants. Now I'm wondering if he was thinking it lol Hmm

But then, I'm usually more that slightly too perky type that slowly edges across the border of joy, marches through the meadows of mirth, flies over the field of fun and finally pole vaults into the pit of 'Joy... you're doing my head in'.
