Thoughts on the name brandy for my DD. I torn between that and Eden!

Sounds like trailer trash from the Deep South. No way.

I knew a girl called Brandy and she was a nasty chavvy piece of work.

They both sound like porn stars. Brandy is worse but both are bloody awful.

I really like it, I have only known one Brandy. I also love the name Remy, and no, I don’t drink Brandy.

But on this occasion, I shall pour myself a Brandy later and raise a toast to Eden.

Brandi is, um, unaspirational.

I learnt to ride at a stables where the horses were named after various alcoholic drinks: Brandy, Whiskey, (red) Rum, Scotch etc.

I prefer Eden to Brandy, It's becoming popular with then nn Edie. I prefer Eden to Edith which I hear a lot.
Don't like Brandy though it's quite 70/80s American.

It’s awful. The back story is nice but people would just assume you named your child after an alcoholic drink.
