Bibbitybootwo.....What name did you end up going for?

@bibbitybootwo

My son was meant to be George, until he was born and I was completely besotted with this gorgeous little bundle and somehow couldn't bring myself to name him such a plain boring name. Felt like he needed something a bit more special, as to me he was the most special person little thing in the world. I still like the name when I hear it just obviously not enough to use it!
What name did you go for in the end?

Louis.... he was Oscar for 2 days as well. He ended up being Louis Oscar. I obviously like regal names!

I have a Georgia who would have been George! I'm Obviously not very creative with names!

Whatsyourflava · 15/07/2020 11:14

I think it's a great name! Love it.

FrugiFan · 15/07/2020 11:15

I like it and it would have been my daughters name, had she been a boy.

Whatsyourflava · 15/07/2020 11:15

Weird people find it boring- I don't , I think it's great. Not that many G names that I can think of? George stands out to me and I like that it's single syllable

augustusglupe · 15/07/2020 11:17

I like George, it a good strong name.

Smellybluecheese · 15/07/2020 11:20

I love it - my daughter would have been George if she had been a boy. None in her class at school but there was one at nursery (she's 5). So not super common like Freddie, Oscar, Charlie, Toby (several of each at school and nursery).

LadyEloise · 15/07/2020 11:20

I don't like it. It's an adult name, not a child's iykwim.

OverTheRainbow88 · 15/07/2020 11:38

Doesn’t a child grow into an adult? And actually more of their life is as an adult than a child?

Hiccupiscal · 15/07/2020 11:42

George is a great, strong, loyal, classy name.
Dont understand the boring comments.
I am biased however as its my sons middle name after a long line of family "georges"
Use it op! Its much better than some of these "modern popular" names..

AcrobaticCardigan · 15/07/2020 11:44

I really love it!

Montbretia · 15/07/2020 12:09

How on earth can a name be 'loyal'? Loyal to what?

OverTheRainbow88 · 15/07/2020 13:08

Is Louis more special and less plain than George?

polkadotpixie · 15/07/2020 13:15

My dog is called George (rescue) but if he wasn't then DS would have been. I really like it

KingOfDogShite · 15/07/2020 13:22

I have a George, it’s a good solid classic sounding name.

I’m happy to be unimaginative tbh. A lot of the ‘unique’ modern names make me cringe.

Royal not loyal .. autocorrect Grin
Montbretia · 15/07/2020 17:40

That makes more sense! I was imagining a sort of labrador child!

JimLaheysWhiskeyBottle · 15/07/2020 17:45

My daughter's second name is George. I love it for a girl, but I've always like strong sounding short names for girls, I've never been keen on names that end with /ee/ sound, Molly, Evie, Emily etc. But I suppose that makes me a bit unusual as those kind of names are really popular 🤷‍♀️

GeorgeMichaelsEspadrille · 15/07/2020 17:51

A quality name!

HenSolo · 15/07/2020 19:11

CharlieBoo · 15/07/2020 19:56
