Really like Eliza! And think it sounds great with Hector and Flora Smile

Mummy2one2016 · 06/07/2020 05:21

Eliza, is a lovely name

madwoman1ntheattic · 06/07/2020 05:21

Eliza

BrickOgrassie · 06/07/2020 05:25

I think Eliza goes best and is a gorgeous name.

MrsGilly1 · 06/07/2020 05:34

I think Eliza goes best x

ArriettyJones · 06/07/2020 05:44

Both absolutely gorgeous names. Impossible to choose.

coffeeandrainbows · 06/07/2020 05:59

Another vote for Eliza, although both are lovely

Emmmie · 06/07/2020 06:04

Claudia sounds lovely, but it actually means “lame” or “crippled”. Just thought you should know, but if it doesn’t make a difference to you then by all means go for it 😊

Peachbubble · 06/07/2020 06:04

I vote for Eliza.

Whatsyourflava · 06/07/2020 07:34

Love Eliza

Sheeptime · 06/07/2020 07:35

Was feeling slightly more drawn to Claudia as love the nn Coco... any nn suggestions for Eliza? Not sure I like the inevitable shortening to Liza

Claudia is gorgeous.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 06/07/2020 08:01

There are lots of little Eliza's around at the moment if that matters to you.

I much prefer Claudia, but then the one I know is lovely!

Lavenderblues · 06/07/2020 08:03

Eliza is beautiful. I know a couple who go by Eliza and don't shorten it.

Claudia has an unfortunate meaning (claudus in Latin means lame or crippled).

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/07/2020 08:20

I prefer Eliza, but I'd say Claudia which is also lovely fits better. Plus Eliza might not thank you for giving her siblings unusual name and her a name which is 10 a penny. I must say I do love the name Hector, It's fabGrin

iprefercatstohumans · 06/07/2020 08:28

Another vote for Eliza with your current names. All gorgeous choices btw!

JaggedlittlePhil · 06/07/2020 08:31

Claudia is my favourite but I think Eliza goes better with your other dcs name, if that is important to you.

Sheeptime · 06/07/2020 08:34

Hmmm thanks everyone- I hadn’t realised Eliza had become so popular so that’s good to know!

Eliza 'fits' with the other names and is my favourite of the two. It might get shortened to Lizzy. Claudia will undoubtedly get shortened to Claud which I quite like.

Either way they're both nice names.

semumm · 06/07/2020 08:53

I also have a Hector and would choose Claudia. It's much more interesting than Eliza which is everywhere at the moment. I so find Eliza a little nickname-y, so I'd go for the full Elizabeth.

Orphlids · 06/07/2020 09:34

Oh, I just love Claudia. Eliza is nice too, but as other PP have said, it’s become really quite popular lately. Your other children’s names are smashing, and unusual enough to be really memorable. I think Eliza seems a little mundane by comparison, I think. Claudia is just fantastic. The meaning certainly wouldn’t put me off. And I love the nn Coco!

employeewoes · 06/07/2020 09:42

Yeah, DD is 1 and I know 3 Eliza's and a few middle name Eliza's. So yeah, very popular.

I love Claudia.

DennisTMenace · 06/07/2020 09:52

Claudia is great.

Twizbe · 06/07/2020 09:57

I'd do Elizabeth nn Eliza. Elizabeth is one of those names that is never out of use but never overly popular.
