@Nuttybea you could use Dede as a nn for Bridie

FamilyOfAliens · 05/07/2020 07:59

OP, how are you pronouncing your DD’s name? Is it the same as Georgie?

I’m just wondering if you’re after something that sounds like more of a nickname in itself, especially if you like Ronnie and Bridie.

Wudgy · 05/07/2020 08:39

Lena, Alana, Beth, Juliet , Sophie!

Nuttybea · 05/07/2020 08:39

@Onekidnoclue oh i didnt think of that nn for Bridie and i love it.

@FamilyOfAliens yes my dds name is pronounced the same as Georgie... we spelt it with the JO at the start as my mums name is jo so was a little way of putting her name into it.
Also im really not sure if i like more nn type name which really doesnt help Hmm other girls names we like are
Bestsy
Nola
Daisy

Ronnie
Vinnie
And zack where our shortlist for boys so it seems i do like boys names which are more like nn's ( if this helps at all)

How about Romily ?

FamilyOfAliens · 05/07/2020 08:48

So it sounds like you prefer the -ee sound at the end of the name?

Just thinking there are some suggestions on here of classic girls’ names and in guessing that you wouldn’t like those.

MsJuniper · 05/07/2020 08:50

I spent ages choosing between Nora and Clio for DD. Ended up going with a different name in the end but still love those two.

Waitingforboristoletusfree · 05/07/2020 08:54

Violet, Nora
