What is your all time favourite girls name?

Im currently 30 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. We dont know the gender but have settled on a boys name. However we are really struggling with girls names. So i thought i would ask whats your all time favourite girls name to see if i could get any ideas?xx

My daughter is Faye Alice

I had a huge list of girls names though. If I were picking now I’d have Penelope shortened to Nell.

Traditional names for me: Emma, Rebecca, Catherine, Lucy, Louise, Nicole, Megan, Chloe, Sophie. But also like Francesca.

Oh wow loads more names to go through! I must add if this baby is a girl joanne will be the middle name as this is my mums name she suddenly died 4 years ago now.

Bridie has also just popped into my head . Love the name. But dont like the nickname bry. Hmm

I loved Mabel, my DD was nearly one but my DH didn't like it. Nice to see it so popular here.

Alba. Ancient name for Scotland, but also has origins with the Romans,Spanish and uk. Had a revival after the main characters daughter in the book "The time travellers wife". I'm a grandma now so definatley no future babies so I'm going to save it for any future cats!

My favourite girls name is Lily but that does work with our surname, and DH has an aversion to flower names. My DD is Kara Jasmine, I snuck in a flower midd name Smile
