Tony....

Having DS2. My dad is called Tony. He has been a big huge support in my life and DS1. Is it too outdated?

Awful. A bit like Gary or Ian.

The only issue, if you like, with Tony as the name on the BC is that as a 'given' name, it doesn't leave much room for any nicknames. With Anthony/Antonio there are more options.

It's great, classic but not boring.

I might be biased as all the Tony's I've ever met have been lovely.

I love Tony.

Somehow nothing like Gary or Ian.

It’s lovely, my cousin in called Tony (full name) he’s lovely!

I like just Tony too, and prefer it to Toby.

There's nothing wrong with Ian or Gary.

Anthony is a good name, and works well as a middle name.

Love the sentimental value of it! I like but think it needs to be a longer name Anthony or Antonio that can then be shortened!

Could go with Tony Junior nn TJ? Or Anthony Junior nn AJ?

I love Tony, and think its much nicer than Anthony, would personally go for Tony on the BC. The only hesitation is it does make me think of The Sopranos!!
