I'm aware the name Emily has been popular for many years now.

How many Emilys do you know under the age of 5?

Thankyou for your responses, I think I'll keep Emily on my short list. I'm not around children that often but all I seem to hear is Evie, Isla and Isabella when i am, strangely no Emily's despite it being the 5th most popular. X

  1. One 24 and one 27. It isn't a name I hear around the younger ones where we live. Lots of Heidi's and Avas though in GD (4) nursery.

There are at least 9 in my Primary school. It’s really popular here. I have 2 cousins called Emily too.
It’s a nice classic name so bound to be popular!

Emily was what dd was going to be called 17 yrs ago however it was really popular then and it put me off. She has went through the whole of school with no other Emily’s in her class/year.

At present two of my friends have an Emily and that’s all I know of.
