I have no idea which one to pick, I'm torn between them so is DP.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I like Sidney quite a lot, actually.

I can see it suiting a baby, teen an adult.

Ernie... Not for me. Too many jokes.

But is Stanley really popular now?!

DramaAlpaca · 13/05/2020 22:06

Of the two, Sidney. Mainly because Ernie/Ernest is so awful.

I like both of them! Cecil is great too.

I love Ernie and Ernest. I was going to call my baby Ernest had she been a boy.
No idea about the milkman reference, maybe those posters are older?

Ihaventgottimeforthis · 13/05/2020 23:57

I have an Ernest/Ernie - the only person who mentions the milkman reference is his granny, so it doesn't bother us.
Other people bring up Shackleton, or Hemingway, or Che Guevara...
I love his name.
But he does have a 'normal' middle name if he ever decides differently.

Love Sidney 😀 I have a Stanley and I actually haven’t met another yet!
