I like it!

LovingLola · 18/04/2020 19:17

I don’t think it’s particularly different. It comes up fairly regularly on mn.

cptartapp · 18/04/2020 19:21

Try hard. And not that unusual, I know a few. Male and female.

bridgetreilly · 18/04/2020 19:23

Ridiculous.

YakkityYakYakYak · 18/04/2020 19:24

Pretty

BaroleCaskin · 18/04/2020 19:25

Sorry but not keen

Dagnabit · 18/04/2020 19:26

My ds has an Indie in his year - I like it!

MarieQueenofScots · 18/04/2020 19:26

Utterly sweet. I know a gorgeous little poppet of 6 who is Indie.

Pinkblueberry · 18/04/2020 19:26

I would say slightly try hard. But you could definitely do worse.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 18/04/2020 19:27

Usually short for India. Very popular around the year 2000, often with Rose as a middle name. It's pretty but not that unusual.

devildeepbluesea · 18/04/2020 19:27

I know one. I'm not keen if I'm honest. Don't know why.

Bagelsandbrie · 18/04/2020 19:30

Just makes me think of Joe Wicks as that’s his daughters name Grin

Fedup2020 · 18/04/2020 19:32

Daft

daisypond · 18/04/2020 19:50

Just no. Too bland and twee.

brimfullofasha · 18/04/2020 20:09

I like it. I know a lovely Indie.

Whatsyourflava · 18/04/2020 20:21

LOVE it!

EthelMayFergus · 18/04/2020 21:03

I'm a teacher and I know three, aged 16/17 so I wouldn't say it's unusual, it's okay though.

WhateverHappenedToBathPearls · 18/04/2020 21:05

It's ok, agree not unusual though - I know two under the age of 3.

Alwaystwomagpies · 18/04/2020 21:06

Likely will be a big surge in this since joe wicks has become so popular

CuppaZa · 18/04/2020 21:06

No don’t like

BabyMoonPie · 18/04/2020 21:15

I've never heard it as a name. To me it's a genre of music so I wouldn't use it as a name

helpmum2003 · 18/04/2020 21:17

It's OK. Not unusual now. If you like it use it - there's a lot worse.

Jossina · 18/04/2020 21:18

As a nickname for India or some other name it's fine.

Chirpychirpy3 · 18/04/2020 21:20

I don’t like it. I can’t imagine a grown woman called Indie.

whatausername · 18/04/2020 21:25

Bland and twee about sums it up. There was definitely an Indie phase on here at one point.
