...but really want to!

I was joking to a friend I might use the names Raisin and Wooster. Those are obviously total joke names but it made me wonder something. What names do you secretly like but don't have a thick enough skin to use or don't wish to 'inflict" it on a child? All subjective of course.

Mine:
Hortensia (love this!)
Augustus
Lucretia
Lavinia
Antigone
Amadeus
Wulfric
Claus (maybe if I move i could use this lol)
Hedwig
Virginia (the whole virginity as a virtue thing is ghastly)
Bláithín (I got told this is old-fashioned and I am distinctly un-Irish)

I love Anthem for a girl but DH was having none of it (little girl due August so we are going with Matilda, my second favourite). But I just love Anthem and have never met one before ! DH said it was too out there. I also love Atlas for a boy

Girls
Ariel-but the soap power ruins it a bit.
Eris
Delaney
Ripley

Boys
Cyrus
Valentine
Maxim
Thierry but no Russian or French connections so it’s a bit poseurish using them I felt.

Thaddeus and Balthazar

My twins would have been called that if we were more middle class
