Opinion of the name Sullivan?

I agree, it isn't a bad name if you already had it, but I wouldnt use it for a new baby since monsters inc.

It's a surname. I'm not against surnames as first names in general but it doesn't work as a first name for me.

I love it, but my DH wouldn’t entertain it as he couldn’t get over the big blue monster in Monsters Inc. but I think Sully is great, and personally I don’t care about the meaning.

I think of The Unsullied. Sullivan I find kind of...wet? I can't think of a better way to explain it atm.
