I love it

Spanneroo · 30/03/2020 19:22

We were torn between Sullivan and Solomon. Went with Solomon because we preferred 'Sol'

I do feel it's quite bold, though.

I know 2 Sullivan’s who get Sully. 1 is 6 and 1 is 3. I think it’s a lovely name

Dr Quinn Medicine Woman.

Buttercup54321 · 30/03/2020 20:03

Horrible. Like Sullen and Sulky

AcrobaticCardigan · 30/03/2020 20:20

Not keen at all.

Bezalelle · 30/03/2020 22:21

Awful. To sully means to make something dirty or bad.

OnABeachSomewhere · 30/03/2020 23:02

I don't mind Sullivan. I'm not really a fan of surnames as first names, but I prefer Sullivan to most of the others. Don't like Sully, though. How about Ivan as nickname instead? Or Solomon, nn Sol or Solly?

AngelaScandal · 30/03/2020 23:10

It’s literal meaning is ‘one eyed’

AngelaScandal · 30/03/2020 23:10

*its

I like it. I have an American friend with a little boy called Sullivan.

We watched Monster Academy tonight. Big blue Sully's first name is actually James. James P. Sullivan!

VenusClapTrap · 30/03/2020 23:45

Not very nice.

w00dlander · 30/03/2020 23:49

I know two.

Hate the name tbh.
