I know an old lady called jasmine so all I think when I hear that name is her so I am biased to jasmine!

Not keen on the bottom 2 and 2 minds between Mabel. Part of me loves it but another part wk seeing if it's a bit TOO old lady

Whereas jasmine, Maisie and Lola are all on pretty steep downward trajectories so are consistently rarer year on year. I’ve not met any babies with any of the names youve listed though. They’re all so lovely

In order of preference:
Lola - Really like it and think it suits all ages
Jasmine - Like the nn jazz
Maisie- cute but maybe too cutesy for an adult?
Ivy - not keen
Mabel - I dont like old fashioned names

The last three I'm not keen on at all so can't really rank but at a push I'd put Maisie last. Lola and ivy are beautiful though!

I think it depends where you are, I’m in Bristol and work with children and in 4 years I’ve never come across an Ivy, Lola or Maisie I’ve also never known a Mabel and only 1 Jasmine!

Like Ivy, rest are OK except Lola, which is a bit 'stripperish'.

Jasmine is the only one that’s nice. Ivy, Mabel and Maisie are awful to me. Lola is too nicknamey. Ok if short for something else.

I’m really in two minds about ivy. I know a couple of young Ivy’s and it really suits them but I was in the waiting room the other day when the doctor called for a ivy and a girl in her late teens stood up and I remember thinking “ooh that really doesn’t suit her.” I don’t know, I feel like it’s lovely for a little girl but doesn’t suit grown ups somehow. Same for Maisie. I like Mabel and jasmine most from the list !!

Ivy is awful but Maisie is atrocious.
